From my personal experience, the manifesting process works – if you follow some rather simple guidelines. What these guidelines are will be discussed in the following posts below. Since the manifesting of desires overlaps with other topics such as spirituality and personal growth, I will also touch upon those topics.

Needless to say, the principles and ways of manifesting are not generally recognized by Western science yet. However, there are many sources in the world talking about effective manifesting. This includes Eastern religions, the Secret and Law of Attraction movement, Toltec Teachings, and many others.

How To Manifest Your Desires – An Overview

This is an overview of how to manifest your desires and why it works. In other words, what are the main ideas behind the manifestation of desires?

1. Manifesting is determined in your inner world.

You manifest all the time. What you manifest in the outside world is determined to a large degree by your inner world.

The inner world includes:
– your feelings about yourself and the world
– your thinking patterns
– the often very limiting convictions about what you can or cannot do.

The outer world, on the other hand, is everything outside of yourself – including all your relationships, how much money you make, and so on.

So depending on your thoughts, convictions and feelings about yourself and the world, you either limit yourself or you manifest whatever you desire. And yes, this involves the Law of Attraction bringing opportunities and situations your way, in which the universe conspires to support you in manifesting your desires.

2. You can change your inner world.

There are ways to change your inner world – your convictions about what is possible for you and even the way you feel about yourself can be changed. These changes will then reflect in your outer world – what you manifest through the Law of Attraction.

Often, you hear people saying that you need to think about what you desire and it will come into your life through the Law of Attraction. While changing your thoughts is an important part of the manifesting process, it is only the first part of it.

The second part are your feelings. If you think about manifesting more money, but you feel that you do not deserve more money, then those feelings (inner world) will reflect in what you manifest in the outer world.

So what you think about a desire (more money) and how you feel about having more money can be in conflict. For powerful manifestation, your feelings and thoughts regarding what you desire should be in alignment and as free of mental and emotional blocks as possible.

There are many ways to remove mental and emotional blocks. Probably the fastest and most effective way is the Golden Flow System. In upcoming posts we will talk more about the most common blocks in manifesting desires and what can be done to remove them.

The Manifesting Formula

Manifest DesiresFirst, IMAGINE what it will be like to already have what you desire. Imagination is an important part of the manifestation process as it gives your desire a structure. As you imagine having what you desire, allow yourself to FEEL what it will be like to already have what you desire.

Do this regularly, at least 5-10 minutes a day and watch your desire come into manifestation in ways you often could not have anticipated beforehand.

A few words on a common block:
It is a very common block to not want to imagine and feel what it will be like to already have what you desire, because we do not want to be dissappointed if it does not manifest.

However, the truth of the matter is that when you imagine and feel what it is like to already have what you desire, THEN THIS DESIRE CANNOT HELP BUT MANIFEST IN YOUR LIFE.

The more you apply the manifesting formula and remove the blocks, the quicker and more powerful the manifestation of your desire will be.

Being Grateful To Boost Your Manifesting

One of the best ways to speed up the manifesting of your desires through the Law of Attraction is to be grateful. Be grateful for what? While it helps to be grateful for anything, there are two things that are especially helpful:

1. Being grateful for what you already have

If you desire to attract more money, then being grateful for the money you already have is a very good way to attract more money. It is also helpful to be grateful for the different kinds of abundance you already have in your life – this will also speed up the manifesting of monetary abundance.

The same is true for any other desire you would like to manifest. If you would like to attract a fulfilling romantic relationship, then in addition to applying the manifesting formula, be also grateful for the various relationships and connections that are already in your life.

2. Being grateful for what you will manifest

Here you need to apply the manifesting formula first:

First, find your desire and focus on how it makes you feel.

Then, imagine what it will be like to already have this desire fulfilled and allow pictures to come up before your inner eye.

As you do this, feel what it will be like to have your desire manifest. It is good to do this for at least 1-2 minutes at a time.

Then, as a last step, you can add feeling grateful for what you will get. This will speed up the manifesting of this particular desire.

7 Most Common Blocks in Manifesting…

Manifesting …and how to overcome them.

Manifesting your desires requires only two steps:

Step 1: Applying the Manifesting Formula to attract what you want.

Step 2: Removing the blocks.

As you see, manifesting is really quite simple, even though it does require effort. However, manifesting with the Law of Attraction requires much less effort than trying to get what you want in any other way. This is because in manifesting with the Law of Attraction you work WITH the universal laws, instead of getting stuck in a block.

Here are the 7 most common blocks in manifesting AND how to overcome them:

1. Mental Blocks – Limiting Convictions

As has been mentioned in the overview on how to manifest your desires, one of the main reasons why people have difficulties in manifesting are mental blocks. Mental blocks include limiting convictions and overly self-critical thought patterns.

For example, if you desire to manifest more money, but you are convinced that you cannot have more money – then this will sabotage your manifesting.

How do you remove mental blocks such as limiting convictions?

A very effective way to remove limiting convictions is to imagine for at least 5-10 minutes what it would be like for you to have as much money as you want, for example. What would it be like? What would you do? How would it make you feel?

This is one of the most effective ways of breaking limiting convictions and beliefs. You may need to repeat this process a few times to fully remove the limiting conviction or belief. Or you may need to imagine HOW you get more money, or imagine other specific things, such as your bank account statement with a lot of money on it.

Why does this work? For your subconscious it does not matter whether you really experience being rich or whether you imagine being rich. In both cases your subconscious gets to experience that it is possible for you to be rich and as a result, the limiting conviction is gone.

See it this way: in most cases your limiting conviction is simply not true and there is no reason at all to keep limiting yourself this way. You may need to get used to seeing yourself in a different way, but this is a small price to pay for what you get in return: a truly more fulfilling life.

2. Emotional Blocks

Emotional blocks are a big one and are very often overlooked in books and films about the Law of Attraction.

What are emotional blocks? Emotional blocks are psychological, subconscious wounds on the level of feelings. Very often, there are emotional charges on top of these wounds. A common emotional charge is rage that is triggered by pushing someone’s “buttons”. A “button” is an emotional charge with a wound underneath.

Unfortunately, all of us have emotional wounds and charges. Since these wounds are usually in the subconscious, very often we do not notice them. But even from the subconscious, they keep blocking us and making us miserable in many situations.

It takes quite a lot of effort to truly heal emotional wounds and process through the emotional charges. And no, it is not a lot of fun either. In fact, you have to open up to your hurt places in order to heal them – and this can feel very uncomfortable, even painful.

Most emotional wounds are caused by not getting enough love, acceptance or approval from our caregivers in childhood. However, now as adults, only we can heal our emotional wounds through inner world work.

In essence, you need to find within yourself the love, acceptance or approval that a hurt place in yourself craves for, and give it to this part of yourself. The more you do this, the better your life gets.

One of the fastest and most effective ways to release charges and heal emotional wounds is the Golden Flow System. It removes mental blocks as well.

It can also help to look into literature on inner child work, such as John Bradshaw’s Homecoming book.

How exactly are emotional blocks a problem in manifesting? Unresolved emotional wounds in the subconscious make us feel miserable: unworthy, unloved, not good enough. All these emotions are big blocks when it comes to manifesting.

If you desire more money, but at the same time feel that you do not deserve it, then it will be difficult to manifest more money without first dealing with the underlying emotional wound that makes you feel unworthy or undeserving.

3. Not spending enough time with the desire

Basically, this means not applying the manifesting formula. To attract and manifest what you desire, there is no substitute to imagining and then feeling what it will be like to already have it. Ideally, this needs to be done every day for at least 2-5 minutes, or even better 10 minutes.

The more you do this, the more you speed up the manifesting process. You will literally start feeling that you already have what you desire. That is the sign that the manifestation of this desire is not far away, if you keep applying the manifesting formula.

4. Wanting

Wanting can also be quite a big block in manifesting. By focusing on wanting something, what you really focus on is the energy of not having it.

This is a bit tricky, but all you need to do is to just focus on what it will be like to already have what you desire and how it will make you feel to already have it.

5. Afraid of disappointment

It is a very common block to not want to imagine and feel what it will be like to already have what you desire, because of not wanting to be disappointed if it does not manifest.

However, the truth of the matter is that when you imagine and feel what it is like to already have what you desire, THEN THIS DESIRE CANNOT HELP BUT MANIFEST IN YOUR LIFE.

6. Focusing too much on the negative

While it is important to acknowledge and not deny problems, it is also equally important not to get stuck in self-perpetuating negativity.

The Law of Attraction works both ways: positive and negative. If you keep focusing on lack, such as lack of money, then you keep telling the universe that this is what you want more of: more lack. The universe provides us with what we focus our energy on.

Instead, you need to apply the manifesting formula and focus on what it will be like to already have what you desire.

7. Depleting your energy through bad habits

Bad habits can be very different from person to person. And yet all of us have bad habits which deplete our energy. Depleting your energy makes it more difficult to manifest what you desire.

Definition of ‘energy’: The energy we talk about here is much more subtle than electrons, neutrinos or any other particles known to science. Through healing emotional wounds, it is possible to start feeling this energy as it flows in you. The chakras are major energetic centers each of us has and it is usually easiest to start sensing energy in and around the chakras. However, it is not necessary to sense energy in order to stop bad habits and accumulate more energy for manifesting.
